Last night P’Poon took a group of us to one of her favorite restaurants, MK, and it was quite an experience! Each table has an electric hot plate built in, which a special place for a large soup pot. The menu is filled with raw items to order, including vegetables, tofu, and meat. As a group, you select the items you enjoy eating and place them in the pot, which is filled with soup broth. While waiting for the soup to boil, there are several delicious appetizers on the menu. We enjoyed the kale with sauce, green noodles, and pork with a delicious oyster sauce. When the soup was finished, we scooped yummy veggies, noodles, meat and broth into our bowls and mixed with a great spicy sauce. This restaurant would be a big hit in the United States. It is social and scrumptious; a perfect choice for groups or families.
