Five course meal?

Today, after visiting the Ratanakosin Museum, we walked down the block to eat lunch at the Methawarai Sorndaeng restaurant. I had no idea we were about to sit down to a five course meal!

Each course was excellent. I have to admit, I was a huge fan of the Tom Yom soup, which was particularly splendid. In addition, there was live music and the servers’ uniforms were fantastic naval-themed white jacket with brass buttons.

The food was simply wonderful. I could not help but thinking two things: First: this food is so good, and I want to eat as much as possible. Second: oh my goodness, Dana, don’t eat so much! I believe I will continue to battle with the two thoughts throughout my time in Asia.
