It is impossible to describe the heat I experienced today in Vietnam. I felt like a crazy person-close to unable to walk or talk. It was a testament to the capabilities of the human body to continue.
Meanwhile, most of the Vietnamese people we saw were wearing long sleeved shirts and pants.
I guess a Minnesotan turned Chicagoan cannot be adequately prepared for the intense level of heat and humidity in Hanoi.
